ALcode LL is a new print/apply system of the ALcode range, developed under licence of Irplast, a leading manufacturer of linerless adhesive material. The peculiarity of this innovative technology is the use of adhesive material without siliconated backing, offering the following great advantages compared to the widespread use of self-adhesive labels:
First of all, a considerably lower cost per label;
Secondly, any waste of silicone material (difficult to recycle);
Finally, an increased length of the work runs at every roll change (more than the double).

The unit is based on a few innovative (patented) concepts for unwinding the material from the roll, cutting, overprinting and applying the label thus obtained on the object to label. The process is smooth, reliable over time, and has been widely tested in numerous plants of big companies that have first taken up this economic and environmental-friendly technology.
The application devices are the same as the Alcode range, allowing air and contact application on all sides of an object, including corners, at a variable speed ranging from 20 to 80 labels/min. depending on label size.
PMH is the adhesive material "linerless", consisting of a matt BOPP film, coated with Hot Melt adhesive (without solvent residues) on a permanent way. The adhesive coating is total. This material is expressly designed for the production of linerless labels, for identification of products (typically bar code), through a thermal transfer overprinting. The material can be supplied blank or printed in reverse, up to 10 colors, and ensures the highest resistance to any abrasion.
ALcode LL is the new linerless print apply labeller of the ALcode range, developed on IRPLAST licence. A significant value innovation for the AutoID labelling market thanks to a new and modern technology: linerless = reels of continuous adhesive material, without liner and diecutting.
LABELS COST SAVING
15% to 30% consumable cost saving, respect to self-adhesive traditional labels. Eliminating liner ends the collection and disposal of backing paper waste (all the material is used). Moreover reductions in media dimensions and weight evidently save transport and storage costs.
PRODUCTIVITY
The reel capacity (labels quantity) is 110% increased respect to an equivalent reel of self-adhesive traditional labels (900 mm reel length respect to 421 m reel length); 53% reduction of line down times, respect to an equivalent reel of self-adhesive traditional labels.
FLEXIBILITY
Maximum flexibility thanks to the on-board cutting unit which allows to get adhesive labels with a length defined by the operator.
MODULARITY
On the base module it is possible to fix the wide list of interchangeable applicator units of the ALcode range, in addition to print engines SATO, ZEBRA and DATAMAX.
It is possible to assemble the labeller according to each specific application requirement.
