At last November’s SIMEI, the International Enological and Bottling Equipment Exhibition, ALTECH presented a complex system for the wraparound labelling of mineral water bottles and the subsequent application of a sleeve on their cap as tamper-evident protection.
The system is composed of one conveyor equipped, in sequence, with: a spacing unit, an ALritma S labelling head and a wrap around unit for the wraparound labelling of the body of the bottles.
Immediately at the end of this first stage, the bottles transit below an applicator of heat-shrink sleeves and then into a hot-air oven for heat-shrinking.
The system treats 500 ml and 1,500 ml bottles, at an hourly cruising rate of 50 bottles/min (the line potential is actually higher).
